I’m Whitney, founder of Come What May Calligraphy + Creative. The name is inspired by the anticipation and embrace of whatever lies ahead in your journey. Everything created in my studio is meant to be felt in the moment and to stand the test of time.
I’m an Enneagram 4w5 and a lifelong creative. I am inspired by art, poetry, the French language, culture, dance, music, evenings, mountains, waterfalls, plants, flowers, and the adoration that is shown between those who love each other.
My entrée into calligraphy was in college, when I was asked to create stationery for a neighborhood in my community, including writing the name and hand sketching the intricate neighborhood gate. I’ve always been in love with words and with the beauty that I find in everyday things. Writing words beautifully feels like the ideal form of devotion.
My brand is rooted in timeless, refined, and organic artistry, with a strong desire to bring emotion and meaning to every piece that I create. I work with sentimental couples who value art, heritage, and intention in their wedding details. I also deeply value sustainability and incorporate natural elements into my work both with artistic inspiration and with materials.

A focus on sustainability and nature are at the core of my artistic inspiration,
my design elements, and my process.
I use organic materials that evoke a sense of peace, balance, and connection to the Earth. These include handmade paper, linen, twine, silk ribbon, dried flowers, and bio-based ink when possible.
I also offer plantable seed paper that grows wildflowers for suites.
All materials that I work with other than wax seals are biodegradable.
I clean my press and studio with non-toxic products, recycle my printing plates,
and reuse shipping materials often.
I have a strong commitment to providing a non-toxic and environmentally conscious
stationery experience for every client.

The first step of the process is to fill out my Inquiry Form. This notifies me of your interest, provides me with all of your initial information, and ensures that I have what I need for us to get started on bringing your vision to life. My Inquiry Form can be found below.

Once I receive the Inquiry Form, I will email you a more in-depth Questionnaire to fill out in order to get a thorough understanding of the vision for your wedding or event. I love helping sentimental couples express their love for one another through intentional details and unique connections to their story.

I will create a Proposal based on what you are desiring for your Wedding Day or event. This will include the vision, the breakdown of the investment, what all will be included, and any special notes or requests. I am always here to answer questions and provide clarity.

I will create a unique design based on your vision and input. This may include elements of your love story, how you met, people (or pets) who are important to you, and locations that hold meaning.
I can base these on a color and theme that you have chosen or use my creative license to design something intentional and elegant that you may not have imagined. I will incorporate your feedback through up to two rounds of revisions prior to moving forward with your perfect design.

After you sign off on all design details, your suite will move into production. At this stage I am gathering materials and creating your unique pieces that will become part of your heritage together.

After all of your beautiful pieces are completed I ensure that details are confirmed, pieces are mailed on time, and everything is in place so that you are able to relax, enjoy this special time, and focus on each other.
